Employment information:Basketball Coach
USA Sport Group is the premier provider of youth sports coaching and provision in the North East and has offered sports programs and clinics for over twenty years. We are seeking Basketball Coaches for full time, part time, or seasonal employment with flexible scheduling to suit your availability.
Basketball Coaches will be responsible for working with children aged 4 to 14, however the majority of coaching you will be assigned to carry out will be with children aged 10 and under at a beginner to intermediate level. In many instances this will be the child's first time playing the sport.
Dependant on your skill set and coaching background, you may also have the opportunity to work on our advanced basketball programs. This may also include private lessons. For a detailed description of all our basketball programs, please click here.
Basketball programs run year-round as weekly classes, as 1 to 5 day school's out camps, and as week long summer camps.

A strong basketball background is required plus a high level of commitment. Experience working with, or coaching children is essential, and a coaching background is desirable. You will need to be able to deliver a confident, well structured basketball lesson following our structured curriculums to all ages and abilities.
Outside the box thinking is a key requirement. We look for coaches who are able to cope and adapt their sessions dependant on any last minute changes which could occur. Read below to see if you sound like what we're looking for:
