SOCCER - Parent & Me Squirts
Embark on a soccer adventure in a nurturing, non-competitive setting. Guided by their parents, young participants will acquire essential movement skills through dynamic games and activities designed to enhance kicking and dribbling abilities. All of this is facilitated with the support and guidance of a parent by their side.
With a parent actively participating beside them, your child will enjoy quality bonding time while learning fundamental skills. Our curriculum is carefully tailored to promote both physical and personal growth, offering excitement and fun in every session, including songs, yoga, soccer games, and an epic obstacle course designed specifically for toddlers.
Parental Participation Required:In our "Parent & Me" program, parents play a vital role as active participants. Parents are required to provide 1-to-1 support to their child. If you have two children, one person aged 13 or older can participate to fulfill the additional supervision role. Your enthusiastic engagement is crucial for the program's success. You will be fully involved, offering one-on-one support and guidance to your child. This partnership not only enhances their sports skills but also nurtures valuable life skills such as teamwork and self-confidence.
Here are some key responsibilities for parents in our program:
- Manage your child's behavior
- Ensure your child stays within the designated playing area
- Assist with restroom breaks as needed
- Listen to the coach's instructions and encourage your child to do the same
- Provide positive encouragement to your child
- Actively engage with your child during the session
- Support them in games and activities
- Reinforce coaching points delivered by the coach
- Be a positive role model for your child
- Prioritize your child's safety throughout the program
Motor Skill Development:
We focus on essential motor skills that form the building blocks of your child's physical development. Our curriculum emphasizes:
- Balancing
- Running
- Jumping
- Kicking
- Agility

Your class will take place on the grass area indicated on the map. Our coaching staff will assist you in finding the correct field. Please note, you can park alongside of the field on Baldwin Ave. Please do NOT park in the train station lot, you will be ticketed.

Your program will take place on the grass field next to the tennis courts and the parking lot. The parking lot entrance is located on Baldwin Avenue. DO NOT PARK IN THE TRAIN STATION LOT OR BILLY & PETE'S SOCIAL - You will be ticketed.
In the event of inclement weather- your session may get moved to the tunnels. Parent alerts should be sent to notify you but please check the tunnels for your coach if you do not see them on the grass field. The tunnels are marked on the venue map with the Shelter icons and run under Murray Ave.
Program Packs provide the participant with almost everything they need for their chosen program. Order yours at least 2 weeks prior to the start of your program to ensure you get your pack on time.
