These Program Level Guidelines are designed to help participants and parents identify the most suitable class for their current skills and developmental stage. It's important to recognize that not everyone progresses through levels at the same rate. While moving up may seem like the ultimate goal, remaining in the same level for multiple seasons can often provide the most developmental benefit. This allows participants to build confidence, achieve realistic goals, and maintain a sense of accomplishment.
Each sport also has unique progression benchmarks. For example, in tennis, advancing beyond beginner programming requires a basic understanding of the rules and the ability to rally. By considering these benchmarks and each individual's readiness, we ensure that participants are prepared—both technically and socially—for the challenges of the next level.
